Two Woofy Tuesday: Dave Buckner Vs. Ringo Garza Jr.

On today’s Two Woofy Tuesday, we are pitting two woofy bearish musicians.  And as always, the simple, yet difficult, question is asked…  Who is the woofiest drummer: Dave Buckner (ex-drummer of Papa Roach) or Ringo Garza Jr. (Los Lonely Boys)?

  1. Ringo Garza is AWESOME – as a drummer, singer, songwriter, brother….. you name it! He’s even an awesome daddy. Period!

  2. Dave Buckner left Papa Roach??

Ah okay, that’s one point gone. I won’t vote for this one because you didn’t include Dave Chavarri from Ill Nino. He is the hawtness.

  3. @ DG:
Dammit. Battle of the Drummer Daves. That one would’ve made a better Two Woofy Tuesday theme. Oh well. ^_^ Good call, though! Maybe a Dave Chavarri vs. Vinnie Paul Woof-Out?

It’s just that I’m not too familiar with Ill Nino. I only found out about that band when I got the very first “Resident Evil” soundtrack (yes, the one with the neutered Slipknot song)… As for Dave, all I know is that Papa Roach has a new drummer and that he left the band in December of 2007.

  4. Oh come on… you don’t need a poll for Vinnie Paul, do you? 😛

Ill Nino also has a song on the Freddy Vs. Jason soundtrack.

You should battle Dave Chavarri against Evanescence’s former drummer Rocky Gray. He is cute.

  5. Well,If we’re lookin for drummers for a new poll how bout Gary from BFS.Gary In boxers Is a sight to behold.

  6. @ DG & Buddy:

Holy crap! You guys are the best! Chino Moreno, Rocky Gray, and Gary Wiseman are all spectacular specimens. I can’t decide from all 3 of them! I might just have to pick Gary though as he’s the bigger and more bearish of the three, imo.

Let me add some more bear musicians, who may or may not show up in the upcoming 2 polls (yeah, I’m following some system, lol):

    – Jim Korthe (3rd Strike)
    – Marcos Curiel (used to be from POD)
    – Terry Corso AND Tye Zamora (AAF)
    – Ed Toth (Vertical Horizon)

Out of those 4, my personal favorite is Jim Korthe. 3rd Strike’s only album, “Lost Angel,” is one of my perennial favorites. Every song in that CD is just awesome. Looks like they’re making a comeback, but it was supposed to happen in 2007. Still, I’m crossing my fingers.

  7. @ DG:
Great news with Marcos! I did not know about that. And I’m swooning with you for being Tye’s Myspace pal. *swoons*

Oh my gosh! Nicholas Barker finally shirtless???!!! I have a collage of him that I will post after my Friday recap. I also have a shirtless photo of him — but it’s so bizarre that it’s not all that great. But he’s shirtless nevertheless! Wait a few…
