Richard Alexander: Classic Bear With A Barrel Chest

Richard Alexander was in many movies who normally played the role of a “bad guy.”  In this following clip, Mr. Alexander plays the role of a hulking mute henchman in the 1937 Republic Serial Film, S.O.S. Coast Guard.

It’s funny how the crescendoing orchestral score and unflattering lighting was supposed to creep the audience, when, in fact, I could not help but stare in awe at Mr. Alexander’s dripping wet barrel chest, wide, massive physique, and woofy daddy bear face.
