Goonday Moonday: Patrick Cox (Part 1 Of 2)

For Goonday Moonday, I would like to present to you a wonderfully handsome big bearish fella named Patrick Cox.  I first uncovered him from Tumblr and I have to give a big shout out to randombearstuff for sharing this deliciously goony goodness with us.  Randombearstuff is a Tumblr blog, so expect NSFW stuff!  🙂

Patrick Cox just has that look that completely owns me.  He is thick, brutish, massive, and just downright gorgeous.  Dare I even say, “perfect”?  Yes, in fact, I will.  He’s just freaking PERFECT!

Before I even get to more of his photos and videos, I just need to share this thing about him.  On his Facebook he posted this image then commented on it.  For easy viewing, I have placed his comment on that image…

How can I not love this big cuddly bear?  Here’s a perfect example of a human being who’s not ashamed of his own sexuality and understands that gay people are no less different from straight folk.  Thank you, Mr. Cox.  Thank you.  And while we’re in the subject of  “gayness”…

I <3 U, PATRICK!!!

Check out his sizzle reel by Coleman O’Toole from Vimeo:

And, of course, with my very specific fetish, here are screenshots of a very specific scene from the sizzle reel…  😛

From the Tumblr images, it led me to one of his movies.  The following are the video and screenshots from the TV movie, “Ben 10: Alien Swarm”…  He had a short scene (though I must admit, I didn’t actually watch the flick just forwarded to his unfortunate way-too-brief scene).  The film seems pretty cool, so I’ll watch it when I get some time.

This video is also courtesy of Coleman O’Toole from Vimeo!
Apparently, I missed that beginning part!!!  (So there are 2 scenes total.)

Come on now... Who can resist such cuteness?

Here’s a webseries that’s currently working on getting financed called “Walkin’ In L.A.: A Comedy Web Series”:

As this post has gotten way too long, let me take a break from all the hotness, and will continue with Part 2

Josh Gad: Jack Black & Jonah Hill’s Spawn

Does actor Josh Gad look like Jack Black with Jonah Hill’s girth and curly hair?  You be the judge as Josh Gad briefly impersonates the two actors (with artistic liberties) as a correspondent for The Daily Show in Comedy Central:

[vodpod id=Groupvideo.7261874&w=425&h=350&fv=autoPlay%3Dfalse]

I first noticed him from Season 2, Episode 2 of Showtime’s Bored To Death.   And with the following image, it’s going to be very self-evident why I immediately fell in lust with this big and cute cuddly chubby bear…

Finally, check out his Funny Or Die comedy skit as “Jose Sanchez: Workout Guru”…  He appears to have a propensity for revealing his armpits as much as possible.  And I totally do not have any issues with that.  😉

Mick Foley Is Will Phillips’ Bodyguard

[vodpod id=Groupvideo.4005964&w=425&h=350&fv=autoPlay%3Dfalse]

Chubarama posted this video and I just have to copy it here: it’s the most awesome Jon Stewart’s “Gaywatch” segment in The Daily Show, and one of them is about my hero, Will Phillips.  You just have to watch it.  (And a big LOL at Jon’s comment at the “What is a ‘gaywad’?” question.)

10 Year Old Boy Won’t Say The Pledge Until Gays Have “Liberty And Justice”

[vodpod id=Groupvideo.3951079&w=425&h=350&fv=]

It is news such as this that makes me glad that I belong to the human race.  It’s crazy to think that a 10-year-old boy would make a stand for something that doesn’t even involve him. Because of it, he’s ridiculed in his school and called a “gaywad.”  When awkwardly asked with a “cute & funny” question, “What’s a ‘gaywad’?” Will replied:

I really don’t know.  It’s a discriminatory name for homosexuals.

I love this kid!  Ask a stupid question, you get a smart, perfunctory response from a.  10.  year.  old.

It’s interesting how the boy is more mature about the whole situation while his dad and the newscaster found the situation a bit humorous.  This is not an attack on either of them, but this is just my observation based on how they interviewed and talked to the boy.  The dad for instance started laughing when his son described how his classmates assumed that he was gay.  Granted, the father is already involved in a very sticky situation and he’s an amazing father for supporting his son’s First Amendment rights.  Still, point is, what if his son was gay?  (But my have-a-chill-pill nitpickiness was thrown out the window when the dad lovingly elbowed Will at the end of the interview.  It was such an “Awwww” moment.)

Nevertheless, Will Phillips is my hero.  He’s only lived in this world for 1 decade, and he fully understands the concept of “Equal Rights.”

And, since this blog is about bear eye candy, Jay Phillips is definitely a very handsome bear.  His reactions are utterly cute and adorable.  You can see his right thumb quivering in the video while my hero kept picking on the threads of his jeans.  I now want that t-shirt…

Jack Weston: “The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street”

To celebrate Maine’s victory of repealing the law of allowing same-sex marriage, here is a Twilight Zone episode called “The Monsters Are Due on Maine Maple Street”…

Stephen King can’t even top this type of horror.

Billy Villegas: 2010 California Marriage Protection Act PSA

I was sorting through my emails when I noticed an email from Billy Villegas and I literally fainted.  After recuperating, I read through the email and I was glad to hear that he and his wife enjoyed my post about him.  Not only do I already think that Billy is way cool for all the right reasons, he then tells me that he’s involved with this PSA video about the 2010 California Marriage Protection Act:

Thank you, Mr. Villegas.  I am grateful to always find heterosexual folks taking the time to support equal rights for the LGBT community.  Thank you very much…

John Marcotte: Video Interview About RescueMarriage.Org

[vodpod id=Groupvideo.3528217&w=425&h=350&]

We finally got to see some video footage of John Marcotte from  You might not recognize him with hair and sans sunglasses, but his undeniably woofy looks are not to be disputed.  I really can’t wait to see what happens to his ballot proposal in outlawing divorce in California…

John Marcotte Proposes To Ban Divorce

Thanks to everyone who have emailed me about John Marcotte and his quest to get a voter’s initiative on the California 2010 ballot called the “2010 California Marriage Protection Act.”  If it gets passed, registered voters from California will have the opportunity to finally cement a complete and utter protection to “Traditional Marriage.”  Check out boingboing for more info.

His website must be visited by everyone, especially by our friends who oppose same-sex marriage.  Here are some choice snippets from his site…

I’m Catholic. My faith teaches me that divorce is a sin. I don’t believe that the government should be indoctrinating our children — telling them that divorce is “cool” or “legally permissible.” That type of moral decision should be taught within the confines of the family. It is not the government’s job to teach our children what to think about the morality of divorce.

Jesus says getting divorced is a sin:

Mark 10:9-11

9 Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”
10 When they were in the house again, the disciples asked Jesus about this.
11 He answered, “Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her.
12 And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.

Interestingly, Jesus never once even mentioned homosexuals or homosexual behavior. I assume this was some sort of clerical oversight that will be rectified during the end of days as described in the Book of Revelation.  Perhaps during Satan’s 1,000 year reign. I’ll get back to you on that one.

Awesome.  Just awesome.

Pass this news to everyone…

And in related bear news, how seriously hot is John Marcotte?  Thank you, Mr. Marcotte.  Thank you very much…

Dave Williams: “Drowning Pool”

Dave Williams was the late singer of Drowning Pool.  The band had a hit song called “Bodies” that has lyrics that I dedicate to…

person —

woman —

of every

who voted “Yes” on Proposition Hate.

I dedicate this song to all of you…  And, by the way, a really big “FUCK YOU” to you as well.

Ferris Beuller Asks You To Take A Day Off

Matthew Broderick is not “bearish” (just my opinion), however, he has an important announcement for my fellow Americans/registered voters.  Sure, he’s a bit biased with this announcement, but whoever you do side with, make the moment count by doing what you can to assist and influence others.  Tomorrow is our last chance.  I’m definitely taking the day off…

Joey Oglesby On California’s Proposition 8

Mr. Joey Oglesby puts his alter-ego, the Reverend Donnie Davies, on the sidelines for a moment to deliver a very important Public Service Announcement concerning California’s Proposition 8 — where voting “Yes” means the elimination of the right of same-sex couples to marry.

Mr. Oglesby, you are a GENIUS!  🙂

Devin Faraci: Did Jew Know He’s In “McCaingels”?

[vodpod id=Groupvideo.1488536&w=425&h=350&fv=autoPlay%3Dfalse]

I’m only posting this video simply because the ever-woofy Devin Faraci of has made his very first acting appearance as “The Rabbi” (check out the original post).

And as a bonus, it’s a parody of Charlie’s Angels, except they’re John McCain’s Angels.  McCaingels.  Get it?  🙂

This is the description of the very first episode:

Johnnie’s girls will go to great lengths to preserve the sanctity of marriage, even if it means ruining every gay wedding one by one. And if someone gets decapitated, well then that’s just a bonus.

Fishbone: “Change” (Chris Dowd Tribute & A Political Endorsement)

I finally got around to doing a video montage.  It didn’t hurt at all, apparently.  It’s rough around the edges but I basically made a music video montage of Fishbone’s “Change.”  It is the last track from the “Truth And Soul” album and it’s my favorite song from it.  Definitely please check it out.  You just might find it to be an undiscovered gem.  Check out the lyrics and you’ll find it to be as timely as ever…

All images are from “The Reality Of My Surroundings –
Past To Present” (VHS and DVD)

There’s a light on a hill
That’s far out in the distance
And it calls out my name
It calls out for a change

Far away voices
That want their own choices
Sigh for a plea
As it calls out for a change

Ooh hoo change
Ooh ooh change
Ooh hoo…

To the root of Mankind
It bellows out bitter winds
Youth cry out for today
Strength to cry for a change

Yet it seems clear to me
It pounds inside my soul
Why don’t we all see
We can cry out for a change

Ooh hoo change
Ooh ooh change
Ooh hoo…

We can change today (x3)

Deep inside our hearts
There’s a love
You can feel it
It’s a love that assures
We can cry out for a change

The dark clouds that did dance
To the blue skies here before me
Make it plain to my eyes
We can cry out for a change

Ooh hoo change
Ooh ooh change
Ooh hoo…

My objective for making that “Change” music video is two-fold:

Reason Number 1: This is a Chris Dowd montage tribute.

Reason Number 2: (My plea to Chris Dowd and Fishbone from this post.)

Raul Malo: Not Just A Crooner Of The Heart, But Also Of The Mind

Obama, Obama…
February 26th, 2008

Well here goes…I don’t know if this will help or not, (I know it won’t hurt, besides I have way too much time on my hands) so here goes…I want everyone to know that I am supporting Barack Obama. I have, as I do every election, followed these candidates and their campaigns and listened intently to what they have to say. Even though I lean towards the democratic side, I tried to sit through a Mike Huckabee speech without wanting to mutilate myself or anyone standing around me. (Enough about the question of evolution…can we please get our heads out of our asses and teach empirical scientific data to our children so that they may grow up to be scientists and engineers and maybe, just maybe, make a considerable contribution to the development of our species?) How can the President of the United States (aka leader of the free world) be taken seriously if he does not support the teaching of evolution in school. I went to catholic school all my life. And we were taught evolution in school in science class…then religion taught us about the bible. And yes it was ok to have two opposing thoughts in your head at once. Eventually you would come to resolve this inner conflict created by your enlightened education in that phase of our life we like to refer to as “Adulthood”. Sorry about my rant here…I’m just really tired of these “right-wing, holier than thou, Bible-thumpers”.

I guess I said all that to let you know that there would be no way I would support a republican (or at least none from this class). Mitt Romney? Please…anybody who spends 40 million dollars to get a job should be investigated, interrogated, and finally put in a room with no corners and never allowed to interact with humans again. The presidency of this country should not be for sale. Period. Mccain…I know he’s a war veteran, and for a republican, he’s not the most conservative of the lot. But I’m afraid with him we would get more of the same except with someone that can actually finish a sentence.

Which leads us to the democrats…here’s a thought that a very excited (first-time voting) eighteen year old pointed out to me the other day…in her life she has only known of a “Clinton” or a “Bush” in the White House. Guess what? That is not good for business as we now see…think NAFTA and the deregulation of the FCC. Hillary was there when her husband signed these papers ensuring that what we see and hear is controlled by a select few. So, I’m not one of those liberals that thinks Bill walks on water. Quite the contrary, I think he wronged us in many ways. And as far as Hillary is concerned, where she lost me is in her support of the Iraq war. When the president’s approval ratings were at an all time high, and the country had been sold on this war, she stood right next to the president to ensure that her place in history was preserved. And I’m sure that her advisors told her that they could overcome any “backlash” from this and basically blame it on the republicans (which they have). Through it all, but especially when it was not popular to do so, Barack Obama opposed this war. And to me, by virtue of that alone he deserves my vote. Imagine that…a politician putting personal gain aside for what is right (What a concept!)

I also don’t buy that “lack of experience” nonsense. First, there is no way to gain experience for the presidency of the United States other than doing it. Also, what experience did George W. have exactly? He was a failed student, soldier, oil executive, baseball executive, governor, and finally president of this great land. And look what he has turned us into and how we are viewed by the rest of the world. And I know that there are those who will still say stuff like “we’re America, we’re the best…blah, blah…” well guess what…we are no longer number one at anything, except consuming and polluting. We need real change in this country. I know that I may seem naive here thinking that Barack can do it (I’m actually more casually optimistic). But even if there is just a glimmer of hope then it is a step in the right direction.

all the best,

I’ve got this feeling that America will vote for the candidate that we desperately need…
