Strongman and musclebrute expert, Rich, shared that video clip of the woofy Shane Hamman from the 2004 Olympics in Athens in the Real_Thick Yahoo Group. In the video, Mr. Hamman was about to snatch the weights when something enormous got in the way. Shane then gave a disappointed look, but little did he know, his musclebear fans just dreamily sighed a collective OMG.
I’ve been gone and will be gone off and on due to personal reasons. However, I will do my best to at least post something worth your time.
Anyway, I just got an email from Sound Chaser (who was one of the very first person who had a page dedicated to Chubby musicians). Definitely check out his link for more chubby goodness, especially his Underchub page (wowza!). I still remember being a member of his underwear chub Yahoo group back in the day.
For some reason he sent me an email which was filtered in my Spam folder. Thank goodness I go through Spam filters because I’m lame like that. 🙂 Anyway, good thing I went through my junk mail because he had sent me a link that is definitely post-worthy…
It looks like your average video of a big guy doing powerlifting stuff. But, wait! Make it all the way to 8:34 and you will see this big brutish musclechub from Norway performing a squat… in… the… nude.
Well, okay, so there’s a bit of censorship, but you guys and gals will easily use your mighty imaginations… Please don’t disappoint me. 🙂
By the way… WATCHMEN comes out tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Russian Weightlifters, Vasily Alexeev and Leonid Zhabotinsky
Vasily Alexeev is quite possibly one of the most famous Olympic Weightlifter of all-time. He made his mark in 1972 and is now an easily recognized and iconic sports personality. Researching more about the history of weightlifting, I have pleasantly learned about a handsome bear of a man who also happened to be the previous Olympic Weightlifting gold medalist: another fellow Russian by the name of Leonid Zhabotinsky.
Leonid Zhabotinsky (also endearingly referred to as “Big Zhabo”) possessed that cherubic looks that he seemed more huggable than intimidating. A true teddy bear, if one was to make an apt analogy. At 6’5″ and 350 pounds, he was considered a towering, muscular giant in the world of Super Heavyweight Olympic Weightlifting. And even in his later years, he maintained his youthful appearance.
Thank you to Lift Up and Visualrian for all of the Leonid Zhabotinsky photo archives.
[Just a note: I might be posting intermittently as I’m involved in community work with the upcoming presidential election. But I’ll do my darnedest to post as much as I can.]
A big “Thank You!” to Scott for giving me a heads up on Wade Williams’ revealing scene in Ken Park. I’ve already said my negative opinion on the two films that I have seen from Larry Clark, and this film really did not do anything to change my mind (even though I just skipped through the film to get through Wade Williams’ scenes)…
Regardless, this film has blessed us with Wade Williams in all sorts of ways that completely catered to my fetishes… Let us begin.
And, of course, just being shirtless…
I’ve debated about posting the “private part” screenshots, but this is a PG-13 blog. The scene is not “technically” erotic as we only see his goods because he’s relieving himself. Anyway, here’s a teaser of sorts…
Anyway, it’s been like 5 hours since I’ve uploaded a scene from this film and it’s still being processed by YouTube. Hopefully it gets approved or something…
1996. Is that even considered a “classic”? Anyway, Andrei Chemerkin (1996 Olympic Weightlifting Champion) was a massive Russian weightlifter that I had a major crush on. The photo above is quite possibly a popular and an iconic image, especially to his fans.
I tried to upload the video of the screenshots from the left but it was so blurry that it’s
not even worth it. The screenshots look somewhat clear as I had to “doctor” them.
I’m not really sure what he’s doing now, so any info would be appreciated. And here are just some photos that I have collected or was shared with me from the past
The following collage was from FilmBear’s Andrei Chemerkin’s Fan Page. As an added note, FilmBear also had fansites for John Goodman and Abraham Benrubi (but I can’t seem to access them, and if I could, I could not access the contents).
I’m begging for assistance… Not only do these videos from NBCOlympics.com can only be viewed by U.S. residents, they are also impossible to download. I don’t believe that. There has to be a way. Unfortunately, I’m not clever enough to figure it out which is why I’m asking for your help.
Anyway, these are some short interviews with Shane Hamman and Casey Burgener. And if I’m able to download them, I’ll update this post and put the videos in here.
Shane Hamman has officially retired from competitive weightlifting but that does not mean that I will forget about this massive and gorgeous beefy man. A reader had sent me an email reminding me of Casey Burgener and Colin Ito‘s woofy predecessor so I’ve decided to post about him. More importantly, Mr. Hamman will be an announcer for NBC in the upcoming Olympics.
Shane Hamman’s muscles are bulging everywhere. And I mean, everywhere…
I don’t know much about Bruce Randall, except for the fact that he started off bulky and chubby. He then, unfortunately, lost a lot of weight just so he could become Mr. America then Mr. Universe. The nerve of that guy! ^_^ Anyway, he actually did become Mr. America *and* Mr. Universe. Pretty cool.
