A few days ago, I just returned back home from Bangkok, Thailand. I was there with my mom for a month as my sister finally completed her gender-confirmation surgery. It has been a relief for everyone that my sister is now officially a female. Continue reading Who Is That Chubby Bear In Bangkok?→
It appears that it’s been about 6 years and 6 months since I last posted on WordPress. It will be awhile as I try to get used to things. It took me some time updating the new look of this blog. I think that I like it as I plan on posting in bulk.
The 3 bears and chubs you see on the top is representative of the bearish/chubby types I like. Not a single white bear? Don’t worry, we will be discussing them. Trust me, I am not partaking in the white genocide…
…Yes, I’m older, perhaps a little bitter, and definitely sarcastic; but I still have a sense of humor.
Here’s an old-school Shirtless Saturday post. Phil Hickerson is a wrestler I discovered a few years ago thanks to the classic pro-wrestling matches shown on ESPN. I missed out on his younger and furrier persona, so I just knew him as his villainous Japanese counterpart, PY Chu Hi. [KEEP ON WOOFIN’!]
My good buddy, GE, informed me about this Atom.com‘s exclusive comedy webseries called Video Game Reunion. Here’s the official site’s synopsis:
Desperate to reboot their failed careers, the once-great video game heroes of the 1980s are coming back together… for a reunion. Go behind the scenes into the sordid lives of Mario, Mega Man, and their gang of 8-bit misfits in a live-action parody that answers the question, ‘Where are they now?’
I checked out the trailer, and I was very amused. I will definitely be checking it out, starting on March 8, 2011.
I was pretty harsh on ESPN Magazine’s 2010’s “The Body Issue” when Steven Holcomb’s godly physique was digitally altered. However, thanks to GE, he pinpointed me to ESPN Magazine’s “The Body Issue 2009: Battle Scars” which featured a close-up of Casey Hampton’s magnificent belly. Needless to say, seeing an almost-nude image of Mr. Hampton is an excellent way to win someone like me over — even though this was shot a year before the Holcomb-Gate fiasco. ^___^
Here is the link to the Flash Gallery of “The Body Issue 2009: Battle Scars”:
Does actor Josh Gad look like Jack Black with Jonah Hill’s girth and curly hair? You be the judge as Josh Gad briefly impersonates the two actors (with artistic liberties) as a correspondent for The Daily Show in Comedy Central:
Bored To Death has quickly become one of my favorite TV series. Not only is the woofy Zach Galafianakis in it, the show is smartly-written and perfectly cast with Jason Schwartzman as the lead.
But on today’s post, I just want to point out a handsome actor who played a bartender in Season 1, Episode 5 (The Case Of The Lonely White Dove). Unfortunately, IMDb nor the end credits shed any light on this mysterious stranger’s true identity…
ChaserAlex was kind enough to share with me a video clip of a hot chubby bear dancing in FlashForward. I have already seen it but I am very grateful that he has already extracted the awesome video clip. Thank you, Alex!
Anyway, the hot chubby bear looked very familiar but I couldn’t quite pinpoint who he was. IMDb’ed his character and I was surprised to learn that it was Jeff Richards, famously known as “Drunk Girl” from Saturday Night Live (here’s a “Drunk Girl” video).
FlashForward is a pretty interesting show so far. I posted this mashup on Tumblr before and I figure I post it here as well. It’s my theory as to what caused the mass blackout… 😉
This is just awesome. IAmAaron from Tumblr just shared this video and the actor in it looked very familiar. Once the credits rolled, I was surprised to find out that it’s Rob Stern from ActionPals! Holy Moley! He is even more cuter with a beard. Is that even possible?

Such a missed opportunity with the ripping of the dress shirt though. ^_^
Anyway, I then checked out ActionPals and found 2 new videos with Rob Stern. He doesn’t have a beard in the first one but you get to see him in his handsome bearded glory in the second one…
Got a little bit of a BearBeat action going on in this Big Dick video for me…
Now this is just awesome. A couple of young lads have created this amazing video called “Cloverbrawl.” As a video game geek, I was all over this two-part video. Every game character, items, motifs that show up just made me giddy like a little girl. These guys are gamers and this video is just a totally spectacular tribute. I really hope that they make a series out of it.
And as a bonus, there’s an uber-cute chubby bear in it named Michael Van Ostade. And for the Chubarama fans out there, make sure to check out his younger brother (I think?), Andrew Van Ostade. He has videos of being a Fat Ninja and as a Fat Dancer.
Anyway, it’s unfortunate that Michael did not survive long enough to make it to part 2, but the overall film is still downright entertaining.
I love advertising, especially advertising that includes large and husky men. Well, I tend to hang around at AdsOfTheWorld to catch on such ads of studly pork & beefmuffins. To my pleasant surprise, I stumbled unto this Flickr Photostream called this is a BIG ad!. It is THE best place to see global advertising utilizing our beautiful hefty brethren. Sure some of the commercials are aimed to convince our big lugs to lose weight, but hey, we get what we can get, correct?
The following are just a delicious sampling of the ads he has collected in his Flickr Photostream… Big thanks to WOOF! Bear Blog for giving us the 411 on this awesome photostream.
Ever since I saw the low-budget film, 100 Tears, on DVD, not only did I become an instant fan of this ultra-gory slashfest, I also instantly fell in love with its writer/star, Joe Davison. Unlike modern slasher films, this movie does not shy away from the actual “kill moment” nor does it switch to computer trickery either. You see the incoming kill, you see what actually happens, and you then see its cringe-worthy results.
I really want to see what Joe can do with an actual Hollywood budget and I can only salivate on the what-ifs scenarios. I then continued to follow his progress in the difficult world of independent filmmaking and I am excited to learn that his new film, Experiment 7, will be released soon (unfortunately, just for the lucky guys and ghouls who can attend the Freak Show Film Fest in Orlando, Florida).
Being a horror fan who’s slowly losing his interest in the genre, it is passionate artists like Joe Davison who keep hooking me back in. 100 Tears was low-budget and it showed. However, it made up for down-to-earth acting and realistic gruesome special effects that never once used any digital manipulation. When I then saw him in Fearmakers, I was a bit disappointed with the film and its special effects as it actually relied on computer special effects which ended up looking really, well, “cheesy.” Still, it was worth the price of admission for seeing Joe Davison again in his leading-man role.
Being an unabashed Bruce Campbell fanboy, Joe Campbell is definitely up there in regards to horror genre heroes. As Bruce relies on slapstick humor, thanks to Sam Raimi’s patented campy Looney Tunes-like horror, Joe relies on the subdued type of humor. When I read on Mr. Davison’s biography, I found out that he used to be a comedian and his skills on that craft really show up in his films. In 100 Tears, there was a natural flow to the dialogue that I found completely endearing.
Anyway, there are three main reasons why I’m excited to see Experiment 7. One, is a given, but I’ll say it anyway: Joe Davison is flat-out amazingly handsome (this is also his directorial debut). Second, he’s playing a snappy-talking, gun-toting badass in an apocalyptic landscape (if I have any favorite type of literary thematic fetishes, that would be it). Check out the trailer below:
As part of my related ramblings, my Fallout 3 character was named JoeD in honor of Joe Davison. That then concludes my final reasoning as to why I’m excited to see this flick.
Here are three hilarious instructional videos from Mr. Davison channeling William Shatner on how to kill these “supernaturalalitism” (lol) creatures…
How To Kill A Werewolf
How To Kill A Vampire
How To Kill A Zombie
Finally, here are some photos of Joe Davison with his killer right dimple…
Okay, well, apparently, there are more. Here are some shirtless photos of the ever-woofy Joe Davison…
I’ve posted about Casey Hampton before, but I had to save his awesome shirtless photos just for this day. But before we continue, here’s a video of the massively beautiful and shirtless Casey at the SuperBowl XLIII Champions Parade.
The above video of Pittsburgh Steelers’ defensive tackle is unfortunately blurry, so here’s a short interview of the big guy. He might not be shirtless, but he’s got to be viewed as clearly as possible.
And as we resume our regularly-scheduled program, here are the amazing shirtless photos of our deliciously chubby football player that my great friend, D.T., has found and shared for us…
And if you are looking for more photos of this handsome bear, let me direct you to the Flickr Hive Mind. I am so obsessed with this Flickr feature that I’ve lost sleep over it. Experiment with differing keywords when you’re “researching” for our spectacular biggins; who knows what awesome discoveries you’ll find…
A few days ago, Part 1 of the film, 300 Pounds, was uploaded on YouTube by Jeff Centauri. Not sure when the other parts will be uploaded, but as a connoisseur of fine moobs and bellies, this 6-minute video did not disappoint.
The best part? Moob-bouncing, right at the 5:27 mark…
This is an old YouTube video but listening to this gorgeous big bear tell us a story of how he had gotten a scar on his forehead is just downright adorable. And, for some reason, in this specific video, he completely reminds me of a huskier Zach Galifianakis — everything from the pauses, the delivery, and his overall facial appearance.
You can check out more of his YouTube videos here: Soakedinale.
